OHG Provides Technical and Financial Support to Ibn-e-Sina for Higher Education

The Ibn-e-Sina Institute of Higher Education was established by Afghan elites and university lecturers in 2010. The university is a non-profit organization that offers undergraduate programs in Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering, Law, Political Science-International Relations, Sociology, Business Administration and Public Administration. The University has enrolled 800 students within 1 academic year, holding the first place in attracting a large pool of student body amongst other private universities in Afghanistan. The reason behind such success is the institute’s faculty who hold master and PhD degrees in their area of specialty.

In the 2011 academic year the institute established its engineering with the support of Omran Holding Group; the most popular college of the institute. Omran Holding Group has made humanitarian contribution to the institute through delegation of lecturers in Civil, Environmental, Mining and Geology Engineering and supply of engineering lab.
Ibn-e-Sina Institute also offers scholarships to students with genuine financial needs so that they could further their education to higher levels and be productive members of our society. The scholarship programs includes 20% discounts for females, 25% for disabled persons, full scholarships for top students, 50% for runner-ups and 25% for those who take 3rd place in each term.

Based on our corporate policies, Omran Holding Group has been providing university instructors and engineering labs to Ibn-e-Sina Institute to meet the future needs for engineers and experts in the country. Omran Holding Group supports and contributes to organizations and NGOs who are primarily working on human capacity development of Afghans. Therefore, Omran Holding Group makes financial contribution to Ibn-e-Sina so that the institute becomes a significant learning environment in Afghanistan.
